Singing is one of the most powerful things we do as worshipers. Joining the worship team and leading with your voice takes skill, talent, and practice. We help you learn the most important things including how to warm up, how to sing in the right keys, and how to be a part of the worship team so you can have success as a worship vocalist and use your gifts for God.

Will I learn music theory?
Don’t be shaking in your boots the next time you have to transpose a song before rehearsal. Understanding music theory is the first step in gaining confidence as a musician. Once we show you key patterns and memory points, you will become a competent and confident musician.

Can you help me develop a personal vision?
We begin by exploring and discussing your vision for the future growth and success of your worship ministry. This is the most important place to start. Where there is no vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:18). We introduce the God inspired circle and help you learn how to continually get to the next level as you strengthen and reach your goals.

Will I learn to build a team?
You will learn how to start small and build a band no matter how small or big your ministry team is right now. We also decide what model will work best for your ministry (rotating full bands or rotating members within one main band). Using the Worship the King core skill sheet and the skill batching technique, we will show you how to start building teams.

Will this help me develop my team(s)?
Continual and intentional training is the key to creating success in your worship ministry. It’s not hard to implement but you need the right training materials. We will help you get a plan together that will allow you to train more volunteers for your worship and tech ministry.

Where do I start with song selection?
Every week you have to pick songs to lead your congregation into worship. First, your top 50 song list is key to creating success in your bands and for leading your congregation to worship each week. We will start forming your top 50 and we will provide you with the templates to create a successful top 50 list for your ministry. Second, we will help you with all aspects of selecting set lists that work well and inspire people to follow you into worship each week.

Will you help me with planning?
When you have a system that works well and you plan 2-4 months in advance, your job as the worship leader will become exponentially easier. At least it will feel much easier. You will also accomplish more and be able to focus on leading worship well. We’ll show you how structure your teams in a way that will allow you to batch your planning into a just a 2 hour block each month. This powerful workflow technique will free up your time to focus on other important factors of being a successful worship leader.
