Our user-friendly survey website walks you through 160 questions to form a well-rounded view of your church and its health. The website is mobile-friendly and can be accessed on any internet-connected device. The process and directions are self-explanatory, and the final report includes suggestions for addressing concerns raised.

Know Your Church
Step 1: Enlist Your Church
Register your church for the Know Your Church report and make a list of people in your church you’d want to take the survey. Be sure to enlist participants with diverse viewpoints.
Step 2: Take the Survey
Give your church-specific survey code to those you’ve selected in your congregation. Take the anonymous survey covering specific points related to church health.
Step 3: Work on Recommendations
Review the final report with highlighted areas of strength and weakness. Focus on improving areas that need it and strengthening positive areas.

How many surveys are included with the report?
We will provide as many surveys as needed for your congregation. We base the initial number of surveys on the average attendance for your church. Additional surveys can be added if necessary.

How does our church select who should be surveyed?
You will need to decide what works best for your context. Although most churches open their survey to the entire congregation, you can also survey a sampling of the congregation. If you choose to survey a sampling of your congregation, but sure to select a group of key leaders and influencers, faithful attenders, volunteers, etc of a wide range of ages.

How many surveys should our church complete?
As a rule of thumb, if the church has fewer than 100 active members, it would be ideal to get 20 to 30 surveys. If the church has 101 to 500 active members, try to get a least 10%, but no fewer than 30 surveys.

Once we launch the survey, what is the ideal time for getting surveys completed?
Your survey can remain open as long as needed. 2-3 weeks is usually ideal.

Do you have any suggestions for getting people to complete their survey?
For churches that open the survey to the entire congregation, it seems to work best to make a big announcement on Sunday morning and then send an email with the survey link. It is helpful to send a few reminders and make a few announcements regarding the survey throughout the process. Churches that select a sample of their congregation typically speak to those people individually or send them a personal email with an explanation and request to submit their feedback through the survey.

Can I use the same survey to assess the health of different groups within our church?
No. Each purchase includes one report with the results for one group of people. Add-on reports can be purchased for a reduced price. Contact [email protected] to purchase add-on reports.

How do I check the status of our church's survey or request our final report?
Email [email protected] with your request for the number of surveys completed and/or your final report.

How long does it take to receive the final report once requested?
A final report can be generated within a few hours of your request unless it it is submitted after normal business hours or on the weekend.
