Pray for Clovis First Assembly of God in Clovis, California

Clovis First Assembly of God is an older church located in the town of Clovis in Fresno County, California. The church has been in its current location since the late 1960s. Pastor Dan Zemlicka has served as the senior pastor for the last 28 years. 

The congregation of Clovis First Assembly has a great love for the people in their community. They are involved in many local ministries throughout the year to show the love of Christ to those living in their town. The church has a food pantry and a ministry called City Serve to assist those in need. They have also participated in Farmer to Family food distribution through the pandemic. The church also provides backpacks to local schools at the beginning of the school year (300 backpacks to 10 different elementary schools) and is planning a sock and glove drive to give to local schools for kids during the winter months. Clovis First Assembly also serves their local police department by providing snacks and refreshments for the officers.

The church mainly consists of retirees with very few younger families. Please pray that the congregation of Clovis First Assembly will catch the vision to reach and welcome younger families into their community of believers.
