Pray for DeSoto Baptist Church in DeSoto, Kansas

DeSoto Baptist Church was organized in 1946 in DeSoto, Kansas, just outside of Kansas City. As people of prayer, purpose, and passion, the church’s major emphasis is on creating a community of faith where people from all walks of life can worship and work together for the kingdom of God. 

The church has a saying, “Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members.” DeSoto Baptist encourages everyone, regardless of age or circumstance, to learn, serve, and grow in the church and the community.

One of the ways the church accomplishes this mission is through its involvement in various ministries in the community. The church actively serves local schools, a local neighborhood center, the Murrow Indian Children’s Home, and a local rescue mission. Please pray that God would provide the resources and volunteers to safely participate in outreach efforts in the community despite COVID restrictions.

Also, pray for Pastor Richard G. Copeland as he leads the members of DeSoto Baptist to reach souls needing God’s love and presence in their lives.
