Pray for First Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska

Since 1904, First Baptist Church Omaha has been sharing the gospel from its current building. This historically beautiful church is in Midtown, an urban area of Omaha, Nebraska. Being in this location offers the church numerous opportunities to serve its neighbors and the local community. FBC Omaha is dedicated to being a church that embraces the diverse community it serves and welcomes people of all ages to encounter Jesus and nurture their faith.

First Baptist is currently undergoing a revitalization process with Pastor Bob Myers providing transitional leadership. During this time, the church is actively exploring outreach ministries to the community, reassessing and adjusting internal structures, and fervently pursuing Christ.

FBC has asked us to pray for two specific ministries. The first is their baby boutique, Moses’ Basket, which serves an area with the highest percentage of single mothers in the metropolitan zip code. FBC has applied for a grant to expand this successful new ministry. Additionally, they will host another group, AA, in October at their facilities. They ask for prayers for effective ways to share the gospel with those who come through their doors. .
