Pray for First Presbyterian Church of Plant City in Plant City, Florida

First Presbyterian Church of Plant City, Florida, has a rich history dating over 100 years. The church has served as a ministry hub in its community for many years. In the 1990s, the church purchased “Hull House,” a former residence located immediately to the south of its sanctuary. First Presbyterian turned the house into a mission outreach ministry home for the Plant City community. Today, the church hosts Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Al-Anon recovery group meetings at Hull House.

First Presbyterian also serves the Plant City community by feeding the homeless, providing a food pantry, and running the First Presbyterian Church Learning Center for children ages 12 months to pre-k. Despite the many ministries hosted by the church, First Presbyterian is refocusing and revitalizing its outreach efforts. Please pray for Pastor David Delph and the congregation as they approach ministry with servants’ hearts and a focus on fulfilling the Great Commission.

Please join us as we pray specifically for:

  • The new group of elders at the church
  • Wisdom and strength as the church seeks to grow
  • A Great Commission focus as the church ministers to those outside of their walls.
  • Pastor David Delph as he leads First Presbyterian Church of Plant City
  • The community around the church and the city of Plant City, Florida
