Pray for Grace Harbor Church in Providence, Rhode Island

Grace Harbor Church in Providence, Rhode Island, established itself as a church plant in 2002. In 2004, the church almost closed its doors due to a lack of funding and resources, which caused the original planting pastor to step back. However, a small group of people decided to continue meeting at the Courtyard Marriott for the next few years. In 2009, the church replanted itself, and in December 2012, Grace Harbor moved into a historic church building on the edge of downtown. Grace Harbor aims to reflect God’s glory in their community and the nations by being Gospel-centered and Word-driven as they worship God according to His commands in community together.

Under the leadership of Pastor Kevin McKay, Grace Harbor is currently undergoing a building project that will allow, for the first time, the church to establish a visible and permanent witness in the city. Take a few minutes to listen to Pastor Kevin share their inspiring story of what the Lord has done and is doing through Grace Harbor:  Building Through Providence.

Let us join Pastor Kevin and the members of Grace Harbor as they seek the Lord to reach New England with the hope of the gospel. Pray with them in this exciting next step as they seek to serve their community, the city of Providence, and the body of Christ throughout New England. This new church will provide a place from which to grow in and plant from for the good of God’s Kingdom.

Join us in praying for these specific needs:

  • Pray for the life and work of Grace Harbor to bear fruit throughout Providence.
  • Pray that the people of New England would be open to the gospel.
  • Pray for gospel partners to come alongside Grace Harbor and join in what God is doing.
