Great Expectation Church in Dillon, South Carolina, is an amazing story of God’s plan for a church, His calling for a pastor, His perfect timing, and His abundant blessing.

Pastor Raymond F. Davis III began his ministry serving churches using his God-given musical gifts and abilities. Pastor Davis believed this was God’s plan for his life. However, after many years of faithful service, he accepted the call to preaching ministry. 

During the pandemic, Pastor Davis began preaching and teaching from his living room over Zoom. In God’s perfect timing, the Zoom meetings grew into a gathering of people in the parking lot of the local wedding chapel, and Great Expectations Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was birthed. In October 2020, God abundantly provided by allowing the church to acquire a building from another local congregation.

Great Expectations has made a profound impact in its community in the last two years. The church has hosted free summer camps, free gospel concerts, back-to-school drives, and COVID-19 educational forums. Please pray that God continues to bless the church with opportunities to grow, serve, and minister in the Dillon, South Carolina area.
