Pray for Greater Morning View Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois

Greater Morning View Baptist Church was founded in Chicago, Illinois in 1963. The church has served the Jeffery Manor Community on the east side of the city for over 50 years. 

In 2006 Bishop Tyrone Harrington was called as the pastor of Greater Morning View. He has led the church to fulfill the vision of giving back to the community through their Fresh Oil Food pantry, social service programs like the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), toy and clothes giveaways, job fairs, and health events that have blessed so many. 

The church has been displaced from their building for over 15 months due to COVID and extensive roof damage caused by heavy snow. Please pray the repairs to the church building will be completed soon so Greater Morning View can regather and restart their outreach programs.
