Pray for Hilltop Church in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina

Hilltop Church began on August 28, 1966, when four families gathered in the basement of one of their homes in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. They prayed for God to send someone to start a church in the area, and God answered that prayer. Almost immediately, God sent the church’s first pastor and made land available for a building. The first worship service in the new building was held just four months later, on December 25, 1966. 

Pastor Jeffrey Jones is the third pastor to lead Hilltop. He has faithfully served the church for over 34 years. Fuquay Varina is located just south of Raleigh, and the area is experiencing incredible growth. Hilltop is working diligently to reach its growing community for Christ. They recently hosted a family fun day and are hosting Vacation Bible School and several camps this summer. Please pray that God will bless these events and provide opportunities to minister to local families. 

Also, pray for Pastor Jones and the congregation as they consider the possibility of beginning a second worship service this August. The church attempted this several years ago, and they seemed to lose momentum. Please pray for wisdom for the leadership of Hilltop Church as they prayerfully consider this opportunity.
