Pray for Horizon Community Church in Galt, California

Horizon Community Church was founded on the principle of “Love God, love people.” This love is expressed through the church’s worship, outreach, fellowship, discipleship, and service to their community. The church has two campuses near Sacramento, California, one in Galt and one in Lodi.

Under the leadership of Lead Pastor Tim Stevenson and Campus Pastor Jared Huntsinger, Horizon has provided virtual and in-person opportunities for worship, Bible study, and outreach during the pandemic. The church engages in a wide variety of ministries to reach their community for Christ.  A food pantry, bike ministry, and Celebrate Recovery are just a few examples of the ways Horizon is serving others.

The church is also partnering with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host Night to Shine, a prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. Horizon is hosting Night to Shine at their Lodi campus this Friday, February 12th. This year’s event will be hosted online. Please pray for the families who will be impacted by Night to Shine and for the volunteers from Horizon who are working to make this event a special experience for everyone.
