Pray for Lowe’s Grove Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina

Lowe’s Grove Baptist Church was founded in 1909 when two congregations merged and began meeting in the Lowe’s Grove School house in Durham, North Carolina. Today, the church is emerging from the pandemic in need of revitalization and a return to a strong biblical foundation.

Pastor Woodrow Freeze is leading Lowe’s Grove to be a Christ-centered, Bible-based, and ministry-focused church. The church has recently started a food pantry to help reach their community. They are also considering ways they can bless the school that borders the church’s property.

Please pray for the congregation as they attend the second event of their Church Renewal Journey this weekend. This is a ministry of the laity to mobilize Christians off the pew and into the mission field. Pray that the members will desire to deepen their faith and answer the call to minister to the community of Durham and beyond.
