Pray for Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Suches, Georgia

Mount Lebanon Baptist Church was established in 1871 in the small town of Suches, Georgia. Located just 80 miles north of Atlanta, Suches is situated on one of the highest points in the state and is known as “The Valley Above the Clouds.” Many of the residents have lived in the valley their entire lives.

Led by Pastor Matthew Jones, Mount Lebanon is a small but growing church. The weekly average attendance is around 35 people, but the church is looking outward to reach its community. The church is hosting a fall festival in October, a Thanksgiving meal in November, and a community Christmas cantata at the local school in December. 

Please pray that God would bless the efforts of Mount Lebanon as they minister to their community. Many of the people the church encounters do not outright reject the gospel, but they do not accept it either. Please pray that God would open the hearts of the lost in Suches.
