Pray for Mt. Carmel Global Methodist Church in Winston Salem, North Carolina

Mt. Carmel Global Methodist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, recently celebrated its 131st anniversary. The church held a vibrant homecoming celebration, where they reflected on their history and expressed gratitude for the past while eagerly looking forward to the future. After recently joining the Global Methodist denomination, Rev. Mary Miller and the congregation are excited about this new beginning and the opportunities it brings to share the gospel as they strive to be a Great Commission Church.

The Mt. Carmel family began for the first time, The Hope Initiative on November 3rd. The purpose of this  30-day program is to reinvigorate their commitment to evangelism both individually and corporately. Let us join in praying for unity as they read, pray, and share the gospel. Over time their church is becoming more multicultural due to connections made through outreach ministries. As more individuals join, the Mt. Carmel congregation aims to be a place where disciples are built and strengthened. They eagerly anticipate what the Lord will do as they seek Him and His plans for their church. This is an exciting time at Mt. Carmel, and it is a privilege to pray for them during this new season.

• Pray for the congregation as they participate in The Hope Initiative from November 3 to December 4, 2024..

•  Pray for Reverend Miller to be filled with the Holy Spirit and equipped with every spiritual gift needed to lead the church as a Great Commission Church.

•  Pray for the congregation to pray bold prayers and worship passionately.

• Pray for many to hear the Gospel and come to faith in Christ this year through their witness.

• Pray for God to breathe a new spirit and new life into the church, giving them hope and a future.
