Pray for Newbridge Baptist Church in Birmingham, England

Today, we have the honor of praying for the community of believers at Newbridge Baptist Church, located in Birmingham, England. This church, built in 1930, is situated right beside the Kingfisher Country Park along the banks of the River Cole. Their neighborhood is predominantly Muslim, and they continually seek ways to share Jesus with their neighbors. They are a small, friendly congregation with a big heart and enjoy a rich mix of all ages and nationalities. As they grow, the people at Newbridge need someone to lead the student ministry. Pray with them for kingdom workers to rise up and participate in what the Lord is doing at Newbridge Baptist. 

Pastor John Ibidokun leads Newbridge Baptist Church, which is planning to replace its current building this year due to its age and condition. The church hall, which is 70 years old, was originally intended to be a temporary structure. Join them in praying for the resources needed for this project. Pray for wisdom for those leading the project so they can hear from the Lord and follow His guidance. Additionally, many elderly members of the congregation are struggling with illness, and we ask for the Lord’s healing over them. We are grateful for the work of the gospel in Birmingham, England and pray that His glory will be evident at Newbridge Baptist Church.
