Pray for the Northeast Conference of the Global Methodist Church in Syracuse, New York
The Northeast Conference of the Global Methodist Church, led by Pastor Steven Taylor, is located in Syracuse, New York. Covering 150,000 square miles, this vibrant region of the Northeastern United States is home to around 50 million people. Established in January 2024 as part of the newly formed Global Methodist Church, this conference includes 185 churches spread across 13 states.
This conference connects both clergy and laypeople for meaningful ministry and accountability. Together, they pray for a fierce passion to reach the lost and the courage to share the name of Jesus boldly. Pastor Taylor and his fellow clergy seek to ignite a deeper commitment to discipleship and are looking for passionate leaders to train and equip others in this journey. They also pray for healing in broken and hurting marriages, hoping to see restoration and wholeness. In these challenging times, they invite everyone to pray for our country, asking that many turn to Jesus amidst the turmoil.
Excitingly, this January, the conference will kick off a weekly prayer initiative for pastors, providing a space for them to come together and support one another as well as the Global Methodist Church. Their aim is to seek the Lord’s guidance in navigating the world’s challenges and to keep their focus on Jesus. Let’s join them in prayer for vitality and vibrancy in their mission for Christ, supported by healthy and holy leaders. We’re so grateful for the Global Methodist Church and the incredible ways the Lord is working through them.
