Pray for Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church in Indianapolis, Indiana

Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church was formed in 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The church began as an African American congregation in a primarily white neighborhood. Throughout the church’s history, it has played an integral role in racial unity in the city of Indianapolis.

Since 2016, the church has provided a free virtual tutoring program twice a week for elementary students in first through sixth grades. Rebecca’s Garden Of Hope Tutoring provides opportunities for at-risk youth to improve their educational outcomes, enhance their social skills, establish lasting relationships, and share the love of Christ. This year’s tutoring program begins on August 30th. Please pray for the students who will participate in the program this year. Also, pray that additional tutors will volunteer to help with this ministry.

Our Savior Evangelical is currently looking for a new pastor. Please pray that they will find the right person to lead their congregation.

Join us in praying specifically for:
