Pray for East City Wesleyan Church in Auckland, New Zealand

East City Wesleyan Church was birthed out of the Methodist tradition in 2000 in Auckland, New Zealand. The church is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic church that ministers predominantly to middle-class immigrants.

The pastoral team at East City is working to establish a clear vision for the future and a plan to be on mission as COVID-19 continues to impact their area. The Auckland region has already experienced several periods of lockdown this year. East City has pivoted between online and in-person services to continue to minister to the people in their community. The church is regathering in-person this morning after the most recent lockdown.

As Easter approaches, please pray for East City as they host their Good Friday service and Walk of Witness event on Friday, April 2. Pray that Auckland will not be on lockdown during these events and many will be reached for Christ.
