Pray for Seagrove Baptist in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Seagrove Baptist Church was started in 1994 as a mission of two local churches and the support of a few local families. The church met in a family’s garage, better known as “the garage cathedral,” until land could be purchased and a building could be constructed. The first meeting in the new facility was held in January 1996.

The church is located on scenic state route 30-A in the Florida panhandle. Emerald coast waters attract thousands of people to the area in a normal year, and most visitors to the church are short-term guests to the beach community.

The church resumed in-person services on June 7th, but they are continuing to stream online services each week at 8:00 and 10:00 am Eastern. Please pray for the members of Seagrove Baptist as they seek to know how to best love and impact their community in a post-pandemic environment. Also pray for Pastor Gary Wiggins as he leads the church through this season.
