Pray for Ozark Baptist Church in Ozark, Alabama

Ozark Baptist Church is located in the southeast corner of the state of Alabama. The church will celebrate its 175th anniversary next year. Despite being the oldest church in town, Ozark Baptist Church has reinvented itself over the years to meet the needs of its community.

The church will love their community this spring by participating in the city’s street festival, hosting special Easter events, feeding soldiers stationed at Ft. Rucker Army base, and hosting family movie nights. The church also serves 125 families per month through its food pantry and operates a daycare facility to minister to families with young children. Please pray that God provides opportunities to share the gospel during these events.

The church just began a capital campaign. Reaching their goal would allow them to pay off the mortgage for its worship center, renovate and build on to its children’s education center, increase its welcome center, and build a family life center. Please pray that God will provide the funding for Ozark Baptist Church to minister to and serve its community now and in the future.
