Pray for Powerhouse of Praise in Austin, Texas

Powerhouse of Praise is a small ministry located in Austin, Texas. The church was founded in 1996 by Bishop Michael L. Scott with the mission to exalt the name of Jesus and teach people the Word of God, the only thing that can bring salvation, hope, and eternal life in a dying world.

In February 2021, a severe and deadly snowstorm hit Austin. The area received 6 to 8 inches of snow, making it the fourth-largest snow event in Austin history. Over 200 people died, and millions of residents were without electricity. Unfortunately, Powerhouse of Praise’s church building was damaged during the storm, and they have not been able to rebuild it.

The church is currently hosting Sunday morning services on Zoom and meeting at another local church on Sunday afternoons. Please pray that God would provide a location and the financial means for the church to rebuild. Also, pray that more church members would return to services and to ministry at Powerhouse of Praise and in the community.
