Pray for Calvary Chapel of The Palm Beaches in Lake Worth, Florida

For the first time in their history, Calvary Chapel of The Palm Beaches in Lake Worth, Florida has a free-standing facility to meet in. Unfortunately, 5 months after moving into their new building, the COVID lockdown started. The church immediately began to pursue ministering more intentionally on the web and through social media in a big way. 

Pastor Daryl Nelson has been the lead pastor of Calvary Chapel from the beginning. He has a burden to transform and build families in the community through the wisdom of God, by breaking down racial, social, and denominational barriers, and unifying the body of Christ to reach the world until He returns.

Calvary Chapel supports several outreach programs including counseling, foster care, a nursing home ministry, and a hospital ministry. The church also hosts YouMoms, a ministry to new and teenaged mothers who are referred to the program through First Care Women’s Center in Palm Beach County. YouMoms provides childbirth classes, parenting classes, mommy and me classes, connect groups, and life-changing Bible studies.

• Building up of the men’s, youth, and young adult ministries.

• Funds to build a facility for children.
