Pray for Connect City Church in Summerville, Georgia

Connect City Church is located in Summerville, Georgia, a very oppressed, low-income area in the northwest part of the state. Pastor Jared Pickard has been the lead pastor of the church for five years. The church’s mission is to exist to make it simple for people to connect to God and each other.

Summerville has recently experienced an increased number of COVID-19 cases. The leadership at Connect City Church has made difficult decisions during this season to help protect and care for their members. They canceled their annual children’s Christmas pageant and moved last week’s worship service online. The church is not meeting today, and their next service will be their 2021 vision casting service on Sunday, January 3.

Please pray for God’s continued blessing and provision for Connect City and His protection of the church members as they attempt to walk in obedience to Him.
