Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newington, Connecticut is the recipient of Revitalize Network’s 2020 Church of the Year Against All Odds Award.

Pastor Cary Schmidt answered the call to pastor Emmanuel at its lowest point. The church had been fraught with scandal, declining attendance, and low morale. Pastor Cary has led the church in a complete revitalization that has had a huge impact on the church and the surrounding community. Immanuel’s campus has been improved, attendance is up 500%, and life has been brought back to a completely dying church in a tough northeastern community.

Emmanuel is currently streaming online services each Sunday at 10:00 am Eastern and Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm Eastern.
