Pray for Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama

Golden Acres Baptist Church was founded in 1945 in Phenix City, Alabama, immediately west across the Chattahoochee River from Columbus, Georgia. The church has the unique privilege of reaching and ministering to people in both Alabama and Georgia.

Under the leadership of Pastor Johnny Ellison, Golden Acres is committed to serving its community through various ministries. The church supports the Village Foster Boutique to provide clothes, food, Christmas presents, and supplies to over 300 foster children each year. The church also supports Broken Ministry, which serves parents who have lost children in the Chattahoochee Valley area.

Golden Acres desires to more effectively reach their community within a 1-mile radius of the church campus. Please pray for the church as they add a community ministry director to help identify additional needs in their community and ways they can serve.
