Pray for Hillsdale Community Church in Kokomo, Indiana

This week, we invite you to pray for Hillsdale Community Church, nestled in Kokomo, Indiana. Established over a century ago, this church stands proudly on the reservoir’s scenic shores, surrounded by nature’s beauty. Like many congregations nationwide, Hillsdale has faced challenges, particularly with a decline in attendance over the past few years. Yet, despite these struggles, the spirit of service remains. The church continues its vital ministry to the community, maintaining a well-stocked food pantry and organizing lively fish fries to generate funds for local missions.

In February, Pastor Kent Kessler returned to ministry after 13 years in a different role. He, his wife Melissa, and their two youngest children are excited to be part of the Hillsdale family. During this Advent season, Pastor Kent and the congregation actively reach out to their neighbors by personally inviting them to church. The congregation is united in prayer, seeking boldness to proclaim the gospel and a heartfelt desire for others to experience the transformative love of Jesus during this special time.
