Pray for Linwood Baptist Church in Linwood, Kansas

Linwood Baptist Church was started in 1911 by a group of brave and compassionate folks in Linwood, Kansas. For over 100 years this church has served, loved, and cared for their community. When everything shut down in the spring of 2020 due to the COVID Pandemic, the remaining members of the church took the bold step to engage in a complete reset of this church and its ministry. The decision was made to replant a new church upon the history and heritage of an old church.

During the replant Linwood called Mark Clifton to be their replanting pastor. Under his leadership, the church has grown from three members in May 2020 to a growing and thriving congregation today. They believe that a church is not successful unless the lives of the people in the community are better because the church exists. Despite the pandemic, the church has hosted several socially distanced outreach events in the last few months. An outdoor movie night, a free garage sale, a free pumpkin giveaway, Bible studies, and an upcoming community Christmas event are just a few of the ways Linwood Baptist is loving and serving their community.

God is at work in Linwood, Kansas, and Linwood Baptist is embracing a new and bright future reaching their community for Him!
