Lusaka Bible Church in Lusaka, Zambia is a local church focused on evangelizing and planting churches in low class areas of their city. LBC trains pastors and church leaders with the intent to help them properly handle the Word of God. They are a very mission-minded church.
Joseph Tembo serves as the pastor of Lusaka Bible Church, leading his congregation with purpose and direction to be equipped for the work of ministry. They train the growing believers in church leadership and plant at least a local church every year. LBC also has a mobile Bible school for all those who seek advanced training in biblical studies.
Lusaka Bible Church works diligently to establish six Bible schools near them and in three locations outside of their immediate area this year. LBC conducts conferences for sister churches, Sunday school teacher training and monthly seminars for pastors and church leaders. With this high degree of intentionality, they ask for prayer to remain vigilant and to meet their budgetary needs.
Join us as we pray specifically for:
- The intentional focus to make disciples and equip leaders and church members for the work of ministry will continue to remain strong.
- Pastors and leaders in area churches who are not adequately trained and are coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ after they have been serving for some time.
- LBC’s budget needs this year, including house rent, utilities, maintenance, and outreach expenses.
- Good health, wisdom, a humble approach to ministry in God’s way and God’s power for His glory.
- Clement and Agnes as they will be leading the new church plant in June.
