Pray for Masonville Baptist Church in Utica, Kentucky

Masonville Baptist Church is located in Masonville, Kentucky, a growing rural community just three miles south of Owensboro. Established in 1957, they are a multi-generational congregation currently in the midst of a revitalization. They are blessed with members from all walks of life who gather in one accord to love, to learn, and to worship together. Their vision is to LOVE. GO. GROW: Love God and one another. Go outside our church walls to serve and show the love of Christ. Grow together in Christ and become His disciples.

Ben White began his first pastorate at Masonville Baptist in September of 2019. His wife, Jenn, also serves as their interim worship leader. They have been married for 10 years, and have a seven year-old son Noah and a four year-old son Jonah. Ben has a B.A. from Boyce College (2011) and a Master of Theology degree in Pastoral Leadership from Campbellsville University (2013). Prior to Ben’s arrival at MBC, the church experienced a decline over the past decades, leaving them with an average of 25-40 in weekly attendance and one Sunday School class with a few members.

Recently, Send Relief with the Southern Baptist’s North American Mission Board (NAMB), announced they were bringing their “Serve Tour” to Owensboro in mid-April. Masonville Baptist has been chosen to support their efforts by having a block party for the community on April 15th. They are asking the Lord to bring many to their church and to make an impact through sharing the gospel.

Join us as we pray specifically for:

  • Masonville Baptist and their partnership with NAMB on April 15th. Pray that many will come to know the Lord during this time.
  • Noah and Jonah, Ben’s and Jenn’s two sons, as they are still in their formative years. Please pray specifically for Jonah, who is autistic and has yet to speak. Jonah has made strides in his physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Pray that he will speak one day.
  • MBC to develop an outward-focus under Ben’s leadership. Please pray for their plans to have a dinner soon for the Masonville Fire Department that is located right next door to their church. Pray that MBC grows to love those who serve their community, encourage them, and show them the love of Jesus.
  • Pastor Ben’s outreach ideas will be supported by the church, financially and actively, and that his ideas will come to fruition.
  • God will open doors to young families to share the gospel and revive healthy and vibrant youth and children’s ministries at MBC.
