Mountain View Church, situated in Marietta, Georgia, is a nondenominational church that studies God’s Word through expository preaching. The Sunday morning messages are typically delivered verse by verse, providing context and meaning while maintaining relevance. At Mountain View, small groups are offered for all ages. They provide a place for in-depth Bible study, building relationships, and participating in outreach efforts that promote personal accountability and discipleship.
In May 2000, Dr. J. Byron Morgan started teaching the Mountain View congregation how to search the scriptures for truth and apply them to their daily lives. The congregation is grateful for his leadership and role in spreading the gospel. As he nears retirement, the search committee and the congregation at Mountain View are seeking the Lord for their next pastor.
