Pray for Mt. Hope Congregational Church in Livonia, Michigan

Mt. Hope Congregational Church began in Detroit, Michigan as “The Mt. Hope Avenue Mission.” The church was an outreach of the Historic First Congregational Church of Detroit. As people were relocating to the suburbs of Greater Detroit in the 1950s and 1960s, Mt. Hope relocated just west of the city to the town of Livonia. Today, under the leadership of Pastor Jeffrey Luchun, the church strives to be a place where people can find hope in a world of chaos.

Mt. Hope is beginning efforts in revitalization. Please pray for their strategic planning team as they seek God’s guidance for the church’s next season of ministry. Also, pray that the congregation will have the motivation and courage to share the hope of Jesus with everyone they encounter.

Please join us as we pray specifically for:

  • Wisdom for Mt. Hope’s strategic planning team.
  • The congregation as they share the hope of Jesus with the lost and unchurched in their community.
  • Pastor Jeffrey Luchun as he leads Mt. Hope Congregational Church during this season of revitalization.
  • The city of Livonia, Michigan.
