We are privileged to pray for Smithfield Christian Church, located in the charming town of Smithfield, Virginia. This growing community is home to the vibrant non-denominational church that is part of the Restoration Movement. Their mission is simple and powerful: to make a difference in the community by loving like Jesus.

Over the past several years, Smithfield Christian has flourished both spiritually and in numbers. The church family functions as a team, working together and relying on volunteers to support the staff in their ministry efforts. Pastor Joe Thompson has been guiding this congregation for ten years now. As they celebrate this milestone, let us pray for fresh inspiration and guidance from the Holy Spirit as he leads them forward.

Looking ahead to 2025, Smithfield Christian has exciting plans in the works. They are adding an extra worship service and looking to hire a full-time NextGen Minister. These changes are significant, and we pray for clear direction from the Lord during this time of transition.

Reflecting on the past year, the church has much to be thankful for, especially the many baptisms and growth opportunities they have experienced. They pray with open hearts for the Lord to continue bringing people to Him through their ministry.
