We are praying for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Blossom in Elma, New York

Founded in 1862, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Blossom has faithfully served the Western New York community for more than 160 years. The congregation is committed to worship, discipleship, fellowship, and community outreach while seeking to share the hope of the gospel with those around them. Following a devastating five-alarm fire in May 2023 that destroyed their historic sanctuary, the church has continued its ministry while meeting in its parish hall and pursuing plans for a new facility.

Under the leadership of Pastor Jonathan Haseley, the church has remained steadfast through this season of loss and rebuilding. God has provided encouragement through strong community support, renewed vision, and opportunities to build partnerships that demonstrate Christ’s love throughout the Buffalo-Niagara region. Pastor Jonathan and his wife, Rachel, are grateful for the blessing of raising their three children, Jesse, Hannah, and Daniel. Together, they enjoy the joys and challenges of family life, and they are thankful for the opportunity to serve the congregation and community of St. Paul’s during this important season of ministry and renewal.

Please pray for St. Paul’s upcoming Strawberry Social on June 24. This event will serve as a fundraiser for the church’s rebuilding efforts and provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships within the community. Pray that meaningful connections are formed, conversations are guided by the Holy Spirit, and doors are opened for future gospel ministry.
