Pray for Stonebridge Community Church in Mantorville, Minnesota

First Congregational Church of Mantorville, Minnesota, was founded in 1858. The church was a central part of the community, along with a hotel, post office, store, and “Mantorville stone” limestone quarries.

Fast forward to 2020. The church was dying and in need of revitalization. The pastor stepped down at the beginning of the pandemic, and the church struggled to survive during the quarantine. But God had a plan and a future for the church.

Pastor Paul Singleton and his family joined the church in April 2022 with a commitment to lead a restart of the church. This summer, the church body voted to change the name of the church to Stonebridge Community Church and to take on a new mission and vision. The church is also making significant repairs and renovations to its education wing, with more revitalization plans in the works.

Stonebridge Community is excited about reaching its community for Christ and becoming a hub in its community again. Please pray for the church body as they seek opportunities to serve local families and businesses and share the hope and love of Christ.

Join us in praying for:

  • God to bless the church’s revitalization efforts. Pray for them to be a shining light in their community and a welcoming place to new believers
  • The transition from a deacon-led church to elder-led
  • Pastor Paul Singleton as he casts vision and leads the church to greater health
  • The community of Mantorville, Minnesota
