Pray for Jeffersonville Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Georgia

Jeffersonville Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Georgia is an older congregation in need of revitalization. Pastor Daniel Wright began serving as the lead pastor of the church in January 2020. After spending seventeen years as a high school teacher and coach, he answered God’s call to serve as a bi-vocational pastor. He is also a school bus driver for the Twiggs County Board of Education.

Under Pastor Daniel’s leadership, the church is intentionally reaching their community for Christ. The church has resumed in-person worship services, Bible study, and Awana clubs. They are prayerfully building up a family ministry and pouring into young children, and Pastor Daniel is forming relationships with the school system and government leaders. The church launched Pray and Go as an outreach ministry, and the church is praying for their community, their schools, and their leaders. They have adopted the mission, “Because we love our community, we are praying for our community.”
